CARING GOD’S WAY - LIFE GROUPS
Here at BBC, We believe that God would have us shape our lives in a way that has us regularly and intentionally connecting with people who we know well, and who know us well- like a family, Life Group or Ministry Team.
As we share life together, we become more connected and the natural overflow is the kind of authentic love and care that just happens. However, we know that there are reasons and seasons where different kinds of care or extra support is required- this is where BBC Care steps in. We have identified 4 areas of care and have teams in each of these areas.
We believe that every circumstance should be brought before God. God’s heart is for His children to speak with Him during the good times and the challenging, knowing that He hears us and answers prayer. Depending on the nature and sensitivity of the issue, prayer points can be directed in a number of ways:

Whether it be a time of illness, tragedy, hardship or shut in, our team of carers, including our pastors, enjoy sharing God’s love by sitting and listening, praying and sharing communion when this is requested.
Our meals ministry team are wonderful at showing love during challenging times through a home cooked meal.
CRISIS CARE & PASTORAL COUNSELLING
For those experiencing a crisis and need more specialised care, pastoral counselling, resources and/or referral to professional services is available.
A ministry where words of life are spoken into hearts of those walking through a time of trial, challenge or celebration. Receiving a card containing words of comfort, support and encouragement can be a powerful and affirming gift of love.
HOW DO I ACCESS CARE?
We are convinced that God’s ideal plan is for you to commit to a Small Group and/or a Ministry team. We realise that this is not always possible depending on the season that you are in. If your rhythm of life doesn’t have you sharing time and space with believers outside of a Sunday service, please leave your name on a Connect Card and drop it in the blue box, chat with someone at the Connect Desk call the office or send an email to It would be our privilege to stand with you as we make our church a truly connected and caring community.
HOW CAN I JOIN THE BBC CARE TEAM?
God has placed spiritual gifts in each one of His children. Gifts such as intercession, mercy, hospitality, service, encouragement and more. Using and growing in these gifts are a vital part of discipleship and becoming a mature follower.
