 PIECEMAKERS

Sharing and learning new skills together are a highlight of our time together, mixed with much laughter and merriment.craft pm
Piecemakers meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. Many ladies are regulars at Bendigo Baptist Church, but we are so glad that there are others in our group who have found Piecemakers a placed of inclusion, where new friendships are forged.
Personally, I love to share with others the gift that God has given me in sewing and being creative. This enables me to share God's love through Jesus. Without Him we have nothing.
I have been involved with Piecemakers for thirteen years at Bendigo Baptist Church and prior to this in a group of the same name at Ringwood Church of Christ.
An important part of the program is morning tea. My husband, Ken, helps to coordinate this, and we appreciate the sponge cake he cooks for each birthday celebration. This is followed by a brief word of inspiration and encouragement from the Bible.

Our projects have been many and varied: making bears, knitting slippers, cross stitch, tapestry, patchwork, quilting, bag making, embroidery, cushions, working with felt, table runners and beading. There is always a table of Show and Tell.

We all need help to live our lives close to Jesus. Life's journey is often difficult, but it also can be a joyous experience. At Piecemakers we share the good and bad times, the times of gladness and sadness: together.

 SERVING CHRIST TOGETHER

globeServing Christ together is a group of women who work together to see God's kingdom advanced. Their aim, "Serving Christ Together through the Church family and through missionary support", offers them a lot of scope to support local and global ministries. The women take a keen interest in what is happening around them and are open to hearing about God's work around the globe. Serving Christ Together generally meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month during term times from 10am at Bendigo Baptist Church, Junortoun Campus.
All ladies are welcome to join the group regularly, or for one off visits, any time.   For more information contact the BBC Junortoun office on 03 5449-3033
