Tim is currently involved with an international Bible school program known as Torchbearers International - Capernwray. They run short term programs, mostly for young adults but also for people of all ages, where they can come live in a Christian community and grow in their relationship with God.

Tim got involved in 2016 when he was looking for a way to grow in his relationship with God. He was developing as a youth leader within his church, and knew that any experience he could gain he could then share. He was 20 at this stage, and really enjoyed the 6 month course where he met some amazing people and could see God at work through the Capernwray community.

After leaving Capernwray, Tim went back home where he applied what God had shown him both at youth group and on youth camps with Scripture Union. He eventually took over leadership of the youth group which was an awesome opportunity because, he said "I was learning God had given me a heart for people and being able to communicate the gospel with them". This lead to the church leaders encouraging him to pursue this and trust God with the youth that he would be leaving behind.

Since leaving Esperance WA, Tim has been pursuing the opportunities to learn, to grow and to share the hope we have in Christ.
