Following Jesus in Discipleship
Discipleship is a journey of following Jesus together.
But what is the goal of discipleship? How do we grow as disciples of Jesus?
How can we help those around us to grow as disciples too?

Journey Training is an interactive, practical one-day event where we delve into Jesus’ model of intentional, relational discipleship. Over the course of the day, we define what it means to be on the journey of discipleship. We explore the stages of spiritual maturity and what each of us, and those around us, need in the different stages to help us grow. We also experience a variety of relational environments that Jesus modelled to help us follow him together.

When we run

Journey Training runs twice a year.

Discipleship Pastor

Ps Treena Denny

Treena began her role as Discipleship Pastor in 2020 after 10 years as a full-time Mum. Prior to motherhood she was a full-time Pastor in Melbourne where she lived. From a very young age Treena has loved being involved in church ministry and has been involved in numerous volunteer ministry areas throughout her life. Treena has personally experienced the transforming power of being intentionally discipled and has a heart to see intentional, relational discipleship at the core of all that we do at Bendigo Baptist. Treena has a passion to see people grow and thrive in their relationship with Jesus and to see disciples of Jesus prepared, equipped and released into the mission of Jesus. Treena is married to Andy and has two fantastic kids!
